Binge Watch Calculator
Calculate exactly how long it takes to binge-watch any TV series at your own pace. 44K+ series tracked with episode counts and runtimes.
About This Tool
Binge-watching has become the default way most people consume television. Streaming platforms release entire seasons at once, and the question is no longer whether to binge but how long it will actually take. The DropThe Binge Watch Calculator answers that question with real data for any series in our database of over 44,000 shows.
The concept is simple: pick a series, tell us how many hours per day you plan to watch, and the calculator does the rest. It pulls the total episode count, the number of seasons, and the average runtime per episode directly from our database, then computes the total watch time in hours and minutes. From there it divides by your daily pace to tell you exactly how many days you need and when you will finish if you start today.
But this tool goes beyond a single number. It provides a full season-by-season breakdown showing the episode count and estimated runtime for each season. This is useful for planning viewing around work schedules, vacations, or simply deciding whether to commit to a show before you start. A seven-season drama with 22 episodes per season and 45-minute runtimes is a very different commitment than a two-season limited series with eight 30-minute episodes.
The data behind the calculator comes from TMDB and IMDB, the same sources trusted by Netflix, Hulu, and every major entertainment platform. Whether you are looking at classic network shows, modern streaming originals, anime series, K-dramas, or international programming, the calculator covers them all.
Use it to plan your next marathon, settle a debate about which show takes longer to finish, or simply satisfy your curiosity before starting a new series. The Binge Watch Calculator is free to use, requires no sign-up, and can be embedded on any website.

Where Does This Data Come From?
Episode counts, season counts, and average runtimes are sourced from TMDB (The Movie Database) and cross-referenced with IMDB data where available. These are the same sources used by major streaming platforms and entertainment databases worldwide.
Average runtime is the per-episode runtime reported by the show's network or streaming platform. For series with variable episode lengths (such as limited series or anthology shows), the average across all episodes is used. Total watch time is calculated as episode_count multiplied by average_runtime, which gives a reliable estimate even when individual episode lengths vary slightly.
Our database currently tracks over 44,000 series. Data is refreshed periodically as new seasons air and new series are added to streaming platforms.
