The Islamic Creed is calligraphically writed to form a boat that symbolise the Faith, and it is a beautiful graphic work based on the shapes of the old and now abandoned Turkish alphabet. Shown at the Annecy Festival in France in 1973, this film achieved great success and impact and was one of the films that started the “personal films” period in Turkey.
