Where Does This Data Come From?
All company data in the DropThe database is aggregated from multiple authoritative sources. Financial data including revenue, market capitalization, valuation, and funding totals comes primarily from Crunchbase, public SEC filings, and verified financial disclosures. Operational data such as employee counts and founding years is cross-referenced across Crunchbase, LinkedIn company profiles, and official company records.
Profile information including industry classification, sector categorization, CEO attribution, and headquarters location is sourced from company websites, business registries, and verified news reports. Data is updated periodically as new information becomes available. We show the most recent available data point for each metric and clearly mark fields where data is unavailable for a given company.
